My Professional Background
I graduated in 1996 with a first class honors degree in physiotherapy from the University of Liverpool.

I developed my physiotherapy skills in various settings including the acute, community, NHS and private sectors, working in a wide range of disciplines including MSK outpatients, orthopaedics, intensive care, respiratory and surgical care, neurology, neuro-rehab, and wheelchair services.

In 2005, I transferred my professional and personal skills to a full time career in clinical case management, specialising in brain injury and polytrauma cases from the outset.

I developed my case management skills with a small provider for 3 years, towards the end of which I was approached by a national care provider to develop their brain injury support service, leading to a year-long initiative enhancing this area of the provider's care delivery. This complemented my case management experience by providing valuable insights into service development and implementation across an entire organisation. A significant part of my role was delivering brain injury training to all regional and area managers and their support workers throughout England and Scotland.
On returning to full-time case management, I worked as an associate senior case manager for a leading national case management provider for 7 years, where I supervised a team of case managers and was responsible for quality assurance of all initial needs assessment reports within the organisation. I continued to work with support providers to recruit, train and manage packages of support and rehabilitation for clients with serious and catastrophic injuries.
I set up my own case management company in 2016 and continue to carry a small case load, working with clients during and post-litigation with acquired brain injuries and/or polytrauma.
